Cirque de Soleil® to 'party' at OREF benefit
Get ready to witness one of the most unique shows in the world when Cirque du Soleil's® La Nouba takes center stage as the featured entertainment for the AAOS President's Benefit for Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation (OREF) during the 2000 Annual Meeting in Orlando, Fla.
The fun is scheduled to begin on Friday, March 17 at 9 p.m. at the Cirque du Soleil® theatre in the heart of Downtown Disney West Side in Orlando, Fla.
La Nouba, one of Cirque du Soleil's® newest productions, originates from the French phrase "faire la Nouba" which means "to party, to live it up." The international cast of 60 performers will take your breath away as they perform unbelievable acrobatic, high-wire, trapeze and trampoline acts under a futuristic Big Top. Outlandish costumes and dramatic lighting give the entire production a surreal feeling.
This particular Cirque du Soleil® production has been in Orlando, Fla. since December 1998, and has received many rave reviews.
Information about reservations and ticket costs for the AAOS President's Benefit Concert for OREF will be included in the Annual Meeting preliminary program mailing to be distributed in mid-October.
