70th AAOS Annual Meeting kicks off Feb. 5, 2003

The 2003 AAOS Annual Meeting is fast approaching. Its time to firm up your plans and join your colleagues in seeing the latest advances in orthopaedic treatments, procedures and research Feb. 5 to 9, 2003 in New Orleans.
Register now to create an educational program to fit your individual needschoose from 32 symposia, 175 instructional courses, 295 papers, more than 500 poster exhibits and 70 scientific exhibits.
Prepare to explore the orthopaedic marketplace and compare products firsthand. More than 400 companies will display their products and services in Halls E through I of the Morial Convention Center. The exhibit halls will be open Wednesday, Feb. 5 through Friday, Feb. 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Looking for a new practice opportunity? Seeking to expand your orthopaedic group? Plan to visit the Placement Center located in Room 284 of the convention center. The Placement Center will be open Wednesday, Feb. 5, through Saturday, Feb. 8, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 9, from 8 a.m. to noon.
"Positions Wanted" and "Practice Opportunities" publications will be updated daily. This service is free to candidates looking for employment and to those who are currently listed in the AAOS quarterly publication "Practice Opportunities." All new practice opportunity listings submitted on-site will be charged $425 per listing. Bulletin boards will be available at no charge. The Placement Center also will be available to conduct interviews.

Youll find the Academys latest publications, electronic media materials and self-assessment examinations on display and available for purchase at the AAOS Resource Center, located in Hall D of the convention center. The Resource Center will be open throughout the entire meeting, from Wednesday, Feb. 5 through Sunday morning, Feb. 9.
Multimedia Education Center
Be sure to stop by the Multimedia Education Center in Hall D near the AAOS Resource Center. Award-winning programs and videotapes chosen from the 2003 Orthopaedic Surgical Video Library will be presented and hands-on demonstrations of new DVD-ROM, CD-ROM, and Internet programs also will be featured.
All Fellows are urged to attend the Annual Academy and Association Business Meetings held in the La Nouvelle Orleans Ballroom of the Morial Convention Center. Meetings will be held on Friday, Feb. 7, 2003 beginning at 9:30 AM.
