Academy book rated among best in 1996

The Academy's publication, The Child With a Spinal Cord Injury, has been selected as one of the 250 best publications by Doody's Rating Service. The 888-page book, edited by Randal R. Betz, MD, and M.J. Mulcahey, MS, OTR/L was among 2,700 publications which Doody Publishing received for review in 1996 from more than 200 publishers.

The reviewer's assessment was that "the book is welcome as the first of its kind addressing the management of children with spinal cord injuries written by a group of experts. The treatment recommendations are current and up-to-date."

The Child With a Spinal Cord Injury will be listed in Doody's Rating Service: A Buyer's Guide to the 250 Best Health Sciences Books. Doody Publishing produces bimonthly and quarterly publications on health sciences and nursing and allied health sciences.
