Watch for your AAOS 2004 Census! Look for the notice of its availability online in January 2004.
Your participation is critical to its success. Why? Because the information collected through this biennial survey provides valuable information on the practice of orthopaedic surgery in the United States. And the AAOS has been a leader in the collection of data on the orthopaedic workforce and practice. Regular substantive studies have been collected every few years for more than two decades to help develop new products and programs.
The information gathered also enables the Academy to better represent
the specialty in Washington, D.C., and in state houses across
the country. All practicing orthopaedic surgeons in the U.S. and
Canada should fill out and return a census questionnaire.
Information you submit for the survey is strictly confidential and released by the AAOS only in aggregate form. No member information is ever released to outside entities.
Watch for further information as the date draws near.
